About Me

Hello! I'm Swapnil Godambe, a Director of Engineering at Axis Bank DBAT | Freecharge, building financial products and digital experiences.

Previously, co-founded consultancy company - The Observatory specialised in Mobile Apps and Web Applications. We built initial version of Servify and later got acquired.

Servify (currently valued, $800 Mn) is startup based out of Mumbai. Specialised in after sales and digital insurance. Was a core-team member and worked closely with founder. Lead the engineering team and built the product from concept to global launch. Hired and trained team from 0 to 50. Worked closely with all the business functions.

Prior to that worked on building Mobile Apps and platforms at Wolters Kluwer | Medknow & mobile apps development firm

Also, I have in-person attended, Google I/O 2019, Apple WWDC 2019, CES 2019, & CES 2020 .

  • Credit Card (React.js and Node.js) - Spearheading the modernization of Axis Bank's Credit Card system, catering to a staggering 1 million users daily.

  • Axis Stock Trading App - Leading the development of a native Android and iOS Stock Trading Application tailored for the Indian market.

  • ONDC (React.js and Node.js) - Playing a pivotal role in the creation of a WebApp to drive a transformative government initiative, establishing an Open Network for Digital Commerce.

  • Grab Deals (React.js and Node.js) - Transforming the Grab Deals WebApp, delivering exclusive Axis Bank Card perks to diverse partners.

  • Personal Finance Manager (React.js and Node.js) - Creating a user-centric WebApp to seamlessly monitor expenditures and investments from multiple sources.

  • Axis Bank Design System (SubZero) - Innovating Native SDKs within the Android and iOS design systems, enhancing the user experience of Axis Bank's product offerings.

  • Customer Onboarding App (Axis Go) - Pioneering an intuitive Native Android and iOS App for customer onboarding, providing a streamlined and digital banking experience.

    Servify Mobile Applications

    Developed a framework for Android & iOS Mobile Applications for Consumers and B2B customers. Consumer Apps lets user register service complains related to devices they own, purchase protection plans & register/track claims, diagnose devices. B2B Apps are designed for Field Engineers to process onsite requests, Service Center employees to process customer requests and Retailers to sell plans and trade in devices.

    Cracked Detection Test

    AI and ML based test lets your detect if smartphone display has a cracks or not. User just need to hold the smartphone right infront of the mirror and scan the QR code. It takes care of obstacles, fraud attempts to hide cracks, light conditions, shakes, blurry images and distance from mirror. This happens with On Device AI and model is trained with large number of images for accuracy. It helps to onboard devices in various insurance, upgrade and warranty programs.

    It's highly engaged App with 1M Downloads. App lets you register your OnePlus Smartphone, buy damage protection plan or extended warranty. You can upgrade your older devices with latest OnePlus device. You can avail free benefits from OnePlus via various campaigns. You can book pick drop services for your OnePlus devices or raise a claim in case of damage, track status of repairs, run diagnosis to detect issues or make a payment for services.

    Vodafone iForever

    In Vodafone iForever App, customers can upgrade their iPhones and get new device by paying marginal amount. It also allows users to replace their existing devices with new ones. Program provides door-to-door shipments with verification of the device conditions. It was a high user engagement app.
